Day 01: Depart from Delhi
Your Palace on Wheels Train Tours Packages in Rajasthan India starts from Safderjung Station at 4:00PM. Enjoy traditional welcome. Click some pictures of yours with traditionally dressed up staff of Palace On Wheels Train. Saloon Attendant will escort you to your private cabins. At around 6:30 PM, the train departs. Sumptuous dinner will be served from 7:30 PM onwards. You can opt for seat at Bar Lounge.

Day 02: Travel Attraction in Jaipur
On reaching Gandhinagar Station at around 3:45 AM, our tour guide welcomes you to the land of Raja and Maharajas. Freshen up and at around 8:30 AM, we will be proceeding to Amber Fort. En route halt at the Train and enjoy photo-shoot of the 18th century Hawa Mahal or the Palace of Winds. Also, enjoy shopping some quality Jaipur textiles, semi-precious stone and accessories. Back on the Palace on Wheels.



In the afternoon, visit the 18th century-old City Palace. Built in red sandstone, the Palace presents the brilliant mix of Mughal and Rajput architecture. On entering the majestic building, you will find that, a part of it has been converted into museum. It treasures some collections of rare manuscripts, weapons, carpets, costumes and miniatures. Nearby to City Palace, is the Jantar Mantar, the oldest and largest astronomical observatory in India. It was built by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh in the early part of 18th century. Enjoy close glimpse of functional Sun-dial and other astronomical devices, made up of stone.

After completion, back to the train for rest. In the evening we will proceed to Nahargah Fort. Also, known as the Tiger Fort, it was built in 18th century. Enjoy cultural programmes and lip-smacking Rajasthani cuisines. At night, return to Palace On Wheels and depart from Jaipur.

Day 03: Ranthambore Tiger Reserve - Chittorgarh Hill Fort
This luxury Palace On Wheels train tour also includes tiger sighting at Ranthambore. On arrival at Sawai Madhopur at 5: 30 PM, our tour guide will take you for a wildlife tour to Ranthambore National Park. This wild abode is home to more than 200 species of birds, 30 Species of mammals, including Tigers and 12 species of reptiles. At around 6:30 AM we will board canters and head towards exploring the jungle for 3 hours. Halt at the old Ranthambore Fort and pristine lake in the Ranthambore Tiger Reserve. Check out some lurking crocodiles on the bank of water bodies. Return back to the train for breakfast.



Freshen up and enjoy lunch on board. We will be reaching Chittorgarh another heritage town of Rajasthan, at around 4:00 PM. For two hours, we will make possible effort to know about the 8th century Chittor Hill Fort. It is perched at a height of 180 meter and covers a massive area of 700 acres. Enjoy getting around series of water bodies, palaces, temples and sky-touching towers in the Fort complex.

After completion, return to train and feed your breadbasket with sumptuous cuisines.

Day 04: Sightseeing in Udaipur on Palace on Wheels Coach
On arrival at the City of Lakes (Udaipur) of Rajasthan, at around 8:00AM, head towards visiting the 16th century-old City Palace complex. After getting around its nook and corner, enjoy boat-ride in the pristine lake of Udaipur. While riding around, you will enjoy the picture-perfect view of the 17th century Lake Palace, now turned into a heritage hotel. We would be offering you lunch at the Lake Palace Hotel. Rest of the time, enjoy shopping some Rajathani miniature paintings. Return to train and rest overnight.

Day 05: Palace on Wheels Tour Itinerary of Jaisalmer
At round 7:15 AM, we will be reaching Jaisalmer-the Oasis in Thar desert in Rajasthan. Proceed towards the 12th century-old Golden Fort complex, Patwon Ki Haveli-one of the largest mansion houses in Jaislamer. Also, visit the group Jain temples, constructed in 15th century. Return to train and have lunch. In the evening, we will offer you the joy of camel ride at Sam sand Dunes. Have a spectacular view of sunset and enjoy the photo-shoot here. We have special arrangement for Cultural programmes and dinner, which will surely pamper your mood.

Day 06: Luxury Train Tour to Jodhpur
On reaching Jodhpur at round 7:00 PM, get ready for a sightseeing trip to the 15th century-old Mehrangarh Fort, situated atop 125 Mts above the town. Get around the breath-taking Palatial Apartments(Mahal), wide courtyards and a museum, which displays the rich collection of weapons and accessories, used in the medieval eras. Also, head towards Jaswant Thada, built during the later half of 19th century. After completion, have lunch at Palace Hotel and back to train.

Day 07: Bird-Watching in Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary
Spreading over an acre of 29 Sq.Km, Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary is among the world heritage sites in Rajasthan. Upon arrival at 5:00 AM, get set to enjoy a walk through the jungle. The Bird Sanctuary houses more than 375 species of Indian birds, migrated from Europe, Siberia, China and Tibet. Enjoy cycle rickshaw ride through the park, also known as Keoladeo Ghana National Park and hook yourself to watching multi-hued birds. Later, return to train and have breakfast.

AT around 10:30 AM, Palace on Wheel reaches Agra Station. The Taj City of India is dotted with monuments, built during the Mughal era. Visit the 16th century Agra Fort and after lunch, make a trip to Taj Mahal, the masterpiece of Mughal architecture. Constructed of white marbles and semi-precious stones, the Taj Mahal was built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in the memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal. After enjoying photographic session in the premises of Taj, reach Royal Palace On Wheels and depart to Delhi

Day 08: Return to Delhi
We will be reaching Safderjung Station at around 4: 00 AM. Before you check-out from the station, we will offer you early breakfast. Get set for your onward destination.
